Cookies
A cookie is a small text file a browser can store. This site uses a small number. Rejecting optional cookies does not block the journal, the engagements pages, or the enquiry form. More on personal data sits in the privacy notice.
Essential cookies
We store your Accept or Reject choice so the banner does not return on every page load. That storage uses localStorage under the key systemRouteline_cookieConsent. It is not a third-party cookie. It lasts until you clear site data. Without it, the banner may appear again; the rest of the site still works.
Analytics cookies
If you Accept, we may set a first-party analytics cookie to see which journal titles are opened. If you Reject, we do not set it. Analytics is optional. It is not required to send an enquiry.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| systemRouteline_cookieConsent | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies | Until you clear storage | System Routeline (this site) |
| sr_journal_read | Optional count of journal page opens; set only after Accept | 6 months | System Routeline (this site) |
Third-party cookies
Pages may load typefaces from Google Fonts. That request can allow Google to see the network address of your device. It is not a cookie we set. Images are requested from Unsplash’s content network when a page includes a photograph. Those requests are not our analytics. We do not embed third-party advertising.
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also clear stored data for this site in your browser settings, or use the browser’s block-cookies controls. Blocking all storage may log the banner as new on each visit.
If you disable optional cookies
You will still read engagements, rates, method, and the journal. Charts in our packs are not delivered through cookies. The only change is that we will not count which journal titles you opened.
